1 May 2019:  Water Safety Day - Repulse Bay -  Constant awareness of the need to ensure water safety is essential for all participants and organisers of water sports. The Hong Kong Life Saving Society and the Hong Kong Swimming Teachers' Association jointly organised a large Water Safety Day even on 1 May 2019 in Repulse Bays.   The event which was well received, was supported by participants and equipment from six government organisations - the Government Flying Service, the Marine Police, the Marine Department, the Fire Services Department, the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Auxiliary Medical Services.  Non government supporters and participants included the HKWSC together with its constituent NSAs.  A short video highlighting some of the day's events can be found on YouTube at              

26 November 2017:  ATIR Ocean Week - Around the Island Race - a 45km race around Hong Kong Island for outrigger canoes and coastal rowing boats, and on land a 45km ergo challenge, plus other supporting activities.  For more details on the ATIR Ocean Week, please click here for the website home page and here for the Facebook page.  Also click on the posters below for more details of these activities.
